Tender coconut · Kerala backwaters

Straight from the crown of the palm to the palm of your hand. Nothing in between.

01 — First light

Born in the mist.

Before the sun clears the palms, our climbers are already up the trunks — choosing only young, green coconuts still heavy with sweet water.

02 — The pick

Only one is ready.

Picked young, never late. That's when the water runs sweetest and the flesh is still soft as cream.

03 — Unwrapped

Shaved by hand, not machine.

The green husk falls away in petals, revealing a clean ivory shell that keeps the water sealed, cold and untouched.

04 — The mark

Signed by the grove.

Every Thenga carries its name on the shell — a promise that what's inside came from a palm, not a plant.

05 — The ritual

Pop. Sip. Breathe.

A pre-cut crown and a straw. No knife, no mess — just the coldest, cleanest sip you'll have all day.

തേങ്ങ — the name

Thenga means coconut in Malayalam. We kept the name — and everything else — exactly as the palm made it.

Three rules, no exceptions

Why it tastes like morning.

Everything we do is about getting out of the way. These three rules are the reason a Thenga tastes like the grove it came from.

Picked green

Harvested young, when the water is at its sweetest and the flesh has barely set.

Opened, not processed

No concentrate, no bottling line. The shell is the packaging, and it's the best one ever made.

Served whole

Delivered chilled with a pre-cut crown. Pop it, sip it, then scoop the soft flesh inside.

Now pouring

Crack one open.

Thenga crates arrive chilled — tender coconuts, straws included. For cafés, events and very thirsty homes.
